While I like the idea of training harder and losing more body fat then the prescribed amount, there are many factors that are more important than the calories you consume. The amount and frequency you train in relation to fat burning is far more important then the level of body fat you gain.
As someone who is going through my first leaner, stronger, quicker leaner, and faster athlete (5.3 Lbs of muscle lost over 3 months) period, I feel that I have achieved what I set out to do, which is gain muscle. However, I am definitely getting stronger at lifting weights and lifting heavier weights, and that is not going to be my biggest issue in this time frame. I have become faster, stronger, and bigger. I have a leaner physique, but that does not mean that I’m fat!
There is no other way to say it. If you want to lose fat fast then you should be targeting your overall diet. For those who are eating high on protein, carbs, and healthy fats, then you will be far more likely to lose fat than those on low amounts of food. I think everyone should be targeting their diet in a way that targets their strengths.

You are too strong to not do anything. You’re not using the incline dumbbells to go up, you are using them to pull your body to a point in the bench press range. You are getting as high as possible and you don’t need to lift more. Your elbows are going to hurt if you don’t go to your full range of motion but you have a good amount of muscle for your weight.
